The origin of Pink Jeep Tours is as unique as the sights along the tours. Don Pratt, an Arizona Realtor, had no preconceived notion of starting a tour business in 1958 when he took a group of investors around scenic Sedona in his Jeep hoping to interest them in property. Along the way, the business deal became secondary to the awesome beauty the group encountered. Duly inspired, Pratt began his Jeep tours two years later. The signature color came after Pratt and his wife vacationed at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Waikiki, iconic for its wall-to-wall pinkness and owned by Henry Kaiser, manufacturer of a line of pink Jeeps.

Pink Jeep Tours was a staple of Sedona, Arizona for the first four decades of its existence. In 2001, Shawn Wendell—who bought the company in 1988—established a second hub in Las Vegas.

Tour Trekkers are insulated, air-conditioned, specially engineered for smooth riding, and equipped with individual DVD players and reclining leather captain seats. Through large windows you can take in all the natural beauty of the desert en route to your tour destination.

And the destinations are spectacular, including multiple options for the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Other trips include Eldorado Canyon, Mount Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire and Zion National Park. On your next trip to Las Vegas, think Pink.
