Trick-or-Treat at Hersheypark In The Dark

Can you think of a better place in the world to go trick-or-treating with your kids than Hersheypark®? Enjoy the sweetest Halloween celebration ever at Hersheypark in the Dark! For the last three weekends in October, the famed amusement park in Hershey, Pennsylvania is transformed into a ghost and goblin-filled haunt that treats visitors to kid-friendly Halloween-themed shows and attractions that are both entertaining and enlightening!

Trick-or-Treating Paradise at Hersheypark in the Dark

Kids age 12 and under can embark on the trick-or-treating adventure of a lifetime, starting at HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD. The quest for copious amounts of candy continues inside Hersheypark’s Treatville, the special village of sweets and treats where free samples of classic HERSHEY chocolate are handed out. Take a break from trick-or-treating and head to ZooAmerica, which showcases Creatures of the Night each evening. Make sure you bring a flashlight to the zoo so you can view the nighttime habits of over 200 native North American animals prowling about in the darkness.

Ride Roller Coasters in the Dark!

Over 50 theme park rides await you at HERSHEYPARK, including 13 thrilling roller coasters! Plus at 9 p.m. each night, the track lights on 3 of the park’s most thrilling roller coasters–Lightning Racer, Wildcat, and Comet–will be turned off, so thrill seekers can enjoy a frightfully-fun dark ride experience! For a smoother, family-friendly ride, check out Laff Trakk, Hersheypark’s newest ride and the first indoor, spinning glowcoaster in the U.S.!
For “shockingly” good entertainment, enjoy a range of great live performances including Bunsen and the Burners, a group of wacky scientists who concoct a good time for audiences. The group belts out your favorite Halloween hits like “Witch Doctor”, “Weird Science”, and “Zombie Jamboree.” You may want to cover your ears when you hear the Screaming Mummies rock out to some timeless Halloween classics like “Clap For The Wolfman”, “Don’t Fear The Reaper”, “Monster Mash” and “The Time Warp.”
