If you’re a huge fan of the wildly popular TV drama “Crime Scene Investigation” and its spinoffs, then this brand new Las Vegas attraction is just for you. CSI: The Experience at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip—the setting of the original CSI television series—draws rave reviews. Here is your chance to play the role of crime scene investigator on your next Las Vegas vacation.
Vacationers get to solve crime scene mysteries. When you experience CSI Las Vegas, you can sharpen your investigative techniques by applying the scientific principles learned at the exhibit. Guests piece together evidence in two state-of-the-art crime labs designed specifically for the Las Vegas attraction. Cast members from the hit television show welcome guests via video and serve as a guide through the experience. Keep your eyes open for clues and be sure to write down anything you see during the welcome video.
You will choose one of three scenarios. Through each crime scene simulation, you are challenged to identify and gather evidence, analyze the materials, and assert your conclusion about who did it. You may choose from a suburban living room, a hotel alley, and a remote desert. Test your skills with DNA and fingerprint analysis and in reviewing toxicology reports. You will be truly amazed with the real-life investigative work you are about to embark on during this multimedia exhibit.
At the end of CSI, you will gather all of the scientific data you collected and use this information to answer multiple-choice questions on the touch screens in front of you. If you are correct with your findings, you will earn a diploma stating that you are a certified “Crime Scene Investigator.”
