1. Daytona Speedway
The need for speed is apparently felt by a lot of people that flock here every year for racing events. NASCAR® races are the number one spectator sport. The races are broadcast to over 150 countries. The Daytona 500 is NASCAR’s biggest and most prestigious event.
2. See Some Sea Turtles
Hundreds of sea turtles come ashore from May through October to lay eggs. Two months later, the hatchlings begin to break out of their shells and crawl towards the sea.
3. Bank & Blues Club
This 1920s bank converted nightclub will keep you entertained with live Blues and Rock bands. The club is also home to Daytona’s famous Bikeweek.
Fly over the water and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Daytona. Parasailing uses a specially designed parachute to allow the rider to be towed safely behind a boat. The experience of gliding over the waves below is quite remarkable.
5. Mini Golf
Hit the ball into the hole in front of you, but don’t be distracted by the 25 alligators surrounding the mini golf complex at Congo River Golf. This African themed park will transport you from a large descending waterfall into the depths of a cave. Try to remember that you are still in Daytona.

The local theatre house is the center of performing arts in Daytona. The show season is from September until June. Bring the whole family for a night of quality entertainment.

8. Main Street Pier
Daytona’s “highway over the ocean” provides magnificent views and fun. The sky lift ride goes out above the water for a quick look at the waves below. Rise early for some good fishing off the pier.

10. Tomoka State Park
Explore the wonderful wildlife and preserved nature of this beautiful park. One animal to look out for is the West Indian Manatee. There are a few trails to take throughout the park. Take one of them to the ancient Indian village Nocoroco to imagine the way people used to live hundreds of years ago.
