Ripley Aquarium Shark

Ripley’s Aquarium is home to 10,000 exotic sea creatures, comprised of more than 350 individual species. The aquarium is open 365 days a year with exciting, educational and interesting sea-life exhibits spanning from penguins to sharks. The largest and most popular exhibit at Ripley’s Aquarium is the Shark Lagoon. Visitors will witness thousands of fish, including Tarpons, Snappers, Green Sea Turtles, Giant Stingrays and sharks, all from a 340 foot-long glide path. Also, while at Ripley’s Aquarium, visitors should not miss Touch A Ray Bay. It is here that visitors can reach out a touch live stingrays as they glide by in a shallow pool of water. Furthermore, visitors can stay for lunch at the Feeding Frenzy Eatery, and buy gifts and goodies at the Cargo Hold gift shop.

Another destination that is sure to appeal to vacation members of all ages is the Amazing Mirror Maze. Full of bright neon colors and mirrors, it is a visual must see. The maze, which is made up of thousands of mirrors and neon lights, plays many tricks on the eye. As one walks through, it is hard to tell whether they are walking down a hallway, or into a dead end. Also, tickets purchased for the Amazing Mirror Maze are good for the entire day, and guests may re-enter as many times as they please.

A must see, among the many Gatlinburg attractions, is the Fun Mountain Amusement Park. The amusement park is a wonderful attraction for families with children of all ages.  It features a wide variety of rides and activities ranging from, bumper cars, a Ferris wheel and miniature golf, to the largest arcade in the area, and a variety of midway games.

Smoky Candy Kitchen Taffy

Anyone with a sweet tooth must stop and take a look at the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen. Known for their taffy pull machine, which certainly mesmerizes the visitors, the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen has everything from homemade candy apples, to homemade fudge and peanut brittle. Don’t worry, for visitors who may be on a sugar-free diet, there are plenty of sugar-free candies available as well.

Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, The Star Cars Museum is a must-see for anyone who loves cars, movies, and TV. The museum is home to cars from some of the most memorable TV shows and movies from the last fifty years. The Star Cars Museum features cars from movies like Fast and the Furious and Transformers. A new addition to the museum is a 1985 Mercedes Benz that was owned by Michael Jackson.
