They wanted to show more of a focus on using locally sourced seafood, dairy and produce. The updated menu provides for a satisfying meal and a memorable dining experience, all while utilizing local ingredients.

Start off your meal with the provided rolls and butter and choose a specialty cocktail or glass of wine from their extensive list. Then savor some steakhouse favorites like shrimp cocktail, beef carpaccio, or the steak tartare, which is specially prepared with Cornichons, capers, shallots and a horseradish remoulade. Enjoy a classic salad such as the chopped salad, Caesar or wedge, or go for the Arugula and Frisee Winter Salad. This dish features cipollini onions, dried cranberries and shiitake mushrooms tossed in a candied garlic vinaigrette. But what really gets guests excited is the rich and flavorful Lobster and Shrimp Macaroni and Cheese appetizer.

Diners will also have trouble choosing from all the delicious entrée selections. For those who love their seafood, lobster, crab cakes, and the Sautéed Golden Tile Fish aim to please. The Wild Mushroom Risotto is also tasty, featuring a plethora of pungent Shiitake, Button, Oyster and Crimini Mushrooms, along with Parmigiano-Reggiano, all with a boost of flavor from White Truffle Oil.

They pride themselves on serving sizzling wood-fired Certified Angus Beef, with options including the 10-ounce Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon, the hearty 24-ounce Bone-in Rib-Eye and Beef Shortribs. Many judge a restaurant based on whether they serve the best burger and Oak Steakhouse delivers on this as well. Their Oak Steakhouse “Foie” Burger features 12 ounces of finely ground NY Strip, Beef Tenderloin and Rib-Eye which are formed into patties and stuffed with decadent Hudson Valley Foie Gras. Next the burger is topped with grilled onions, micro arugula sprouts and Fontina cheese, all on a Brioche Bun with a side of fries.

Another winning dish on the menu includes the “Bistro Cut” Beef Tenderloin, which marries together two amazing concepts. The dish features not just tender meat but it is served with a Burden Creek Dairy Goat Cheese Fondue and truffled Pomme Frites as well.  Or, an additional option for those whose love their beef with a southern twist is the seasoned Cajun Blackened Prime New York Strip steak with a Creole Crawfish Compound Butter.
