Miami’s South Beach is synonymous with sun, sand, nonstop nightlife, and innovative dining venues featuring cuisines from around the world. It’s no surprise then that South Beach is also the host city of the annual Hess Wines® South Beach Seafood Festival, a celebration of Florida’s renowned fresh seafood. Hosted by Coca-Cola®, the festival also kicks off South Florida’s yearly stone crab season, which begins in late October. The event attracts thousands of seafood enthusiasts from around the world who come to experience delectable seafood dishes prepared by Miami’s top chefs and restaurants.
The 4-day itinerary includes three days of VIP events that culminate in the South Beach Seafood Festival. The celebration begins on October 21st with “An Evening at Joe’s” that features a sumptuous five-course meal at the world-famous Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami Beach. “Cooking & Cocktails” on October 22nd will feature an interactive cooking & mixology experience held at the Miami-Dade Culinary Institute’s Wine Theatre. On October 23rd, the 2nd annual “Chef Showdown” returns to the GOYA Culinary Pavilion on the beach for an evening of competitive cook-offs between local executive chefs.
The third annual South Beach Seafood Festival gets underway October 24th on the beach at Lummus Park on Ocean Drive.
