The Smith Family Dinner Theater is the final word in family-friendly southern fun. Not only is the food fantastic, but the show has been named the best show out of all the Pigeon Forge dinner theaters seven years in a row, making it a must for any vacation.
The twice-nightly kickoff occurs just about every night at 5pm and 8pm. However, times can fluctuate depending on seasonal shows or specials. The dress code is casual, allowing for nearby recreation (i.e. minigolf or shopping) after the dinner and show without needing to change.
Smith Family Dinner Theater – Best Show in the Smoky Mountains
Nightly shows range from comedy by the three Smith brothers, to top-of-the-line country music acts. Performers gracing the Smith Family Dinner Theater stage here have included the Osmonds, two-time CMA vocalist of the year Lee Greenwood, and musicals like Grease, during the venue’s “Back to the 50’s” night.
The Smith Family Dinner Theater menu reads just as southern as the acts that follow, with pot roast, fried chicken, roasted chicken, green beans, pinto beans, mac-n-cheese, turnip greens and more. All of it is made to order, including desserts like banana pudding and peach cobbler. Kids eat free with a paying adult, and teens eat for half off, so the night is just as affordable as it is entertaining.
Seating at the theater is excellent, with a large center section directly facing the stage, a balcony above, and left and right side seating raised slightly above the center floor. All this means there is not a bad seat in the house.
Group shows can also be arranged for churches, vacations, parties, private events and student field trips by calling ahead and setting up specific details with the staff.
Tickets can be bought and held online, but don’t forget to download the coupon offer on the front page first.
