Rio Amazon

Rio Amazon allows you to explore the equatorial rainforest that receives about an inch of rain per day. That adds up to over 400 inches of rain per year, a truly astounding number. Piranhas, stingrays and armored catfish swim in the river, which moves over four million cubic feet of water per second.

Dangerous Reef

The biggest and most popular exhibit is Dangerous Reef. Menacing 10-foot sharks surround onlookers as they travel leisurely on a 340-foot long glidepath. Get ready to come face to face with grunts, squirrelfish, snapper, sawfish, and the largest sharks this side of the Grand Strand. The water is so clear that you will feel like you are fingertips away from the amazing sea life.

Living Gallery

Don’t miss your ticket to the Art Show. Living art in the form of undersea life makes its home in this exhibit. The spotlight shines on Living corals, Pacific Giant Octopus, sea anemones and weedy sea dragons, the featured pieces in The Living Gallery. View the picturesque underwater Coral reefs as they provide the necessary protection to all marine life. Plant-like animals like the giant clam and hammer corals flow back and forth in the currents.

Rainbow Rock

Rainbow Rock offers a view of thousands of brilliantly colored fish from the Pacific. Watch the fish swim through the delicate reef structure of the Indo-Pacific coral reef. During the daily shows, divers hand feed the majestic fish to ensure survival in the waters of the Pacific.

Discovery Center

Children are drawn to the Sea-for-Yourself Discovery Center, an interactive, multimedia playground. You will actually get to hold horseshoe crabs at the educational resource center. Learn by doing at this winning exhibit for kids and adults of all ages.
