Branson’s longest running and most successful first generation show features five brothers and one sister. Their highly energetic shows feature amazing harmonies, dazzling special effects, incredible choreography and the playing of more than 20 different instruments during each performance.
Watch the biggest Hollywood movies on giant screens then have a bite to eat at McFarlain’s Family Restaurant. With an indoor shopping mall featuring 17 specialty stores, The Little Opry Theatre and, of course, movie theaters, the Imax Entertainment Complex is great destination packed with family fun.
Fresh bread is the foundation of every sandwich at this Branson sub shop. The menu features traditional clubs like turkey, ham and roast beef along with Italian sandwiches. Branson has a museum for every interest. From the ill-fated luxury liner the Titanic and prehistoric dinosaurs that once roamed the earth to more than one million toys, wax figures and a salute to our veterans. You can even visit Ripley’s museum, believe it or not.
This rescue agency makes it possible for exotic cats and domestic animals to have a safe, permanent home. All of the animals live in natural settings, with only real grass, dirt and straw—there is never any concrete in their habitats. Guided tours are available that give you an opportunity to feed these magnificent creatures.
At Wolf Creek Station you can sift through a bag of rough (dirt from a mine) in search of cool keepsakes from the Ozarks. You’ll be given a screen and stationed at a sluice where you’ll take part in some old-fashioned panning. Find a gemstone, piece of Fool’s Gold or fossil and it’s yours to take home.
