Are you a BS’er? You are if you’re a Blake Shelton fan. So make sure you’re in Central Florida for his concert at the Amway Center on August 30, 2014. The Amway Center is a 20,000 seat sports and entertainment venue located in Orlando’s action-packed downtown district.
This country mega superstar is out on the road in support of his Ten Times Crazier Tour sponsored by Pepsi® and promoted by LiveNation. He and his band will be playing tracks from his GRAMMY-nominated album Based on a True Story. Reviews from both fans and critics have been overwhelmingly positive. He likes to tell stories and easily draws the crowd in with his captivating reminiscing. Blake’s lyrics are decidedly personal in nature, and this allows him to truly get into each and every performance. His sets are a musical combination of acoustic numbers and amped-up supercharged hits.
Blake recently made history when his song “Doin’ What She Likes” shot up to number one. This was his 11th consecutive No. 1 in a row, and 16th overall, based on monitored country airplay. He is the current Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year as well as three-time Male Vocalist of the Year. He and his wife Miranda Lambert (she just happens to be a country singer as well) teamed up to write “Over You,” earning the chart-topping single Song of the Year honors. No stranger to accolades, this lifetime lover of country music has received numerous GRAMMY nominations to go with his six gold and platinum albums.
According to Blake, he’s still learning, reaching and growing. “I just want to do what George Strait has done and what Reba (McEntire) has done—to make great music year after year,” he says. “I don’t think there’s a magic formula. I think you just go and make the best record you can make and give the best you have when you walk out on that stage.”
In addition to writing and performing some of the most popular country songs of the last decade, Blake also has a Hollywood side to him. He proudly serves as a coach on the wildly popular NBC television show The Voice. FYI: His teams won seasons 2, 3 and 4.
Be sure to visit Blake’s BS’ers fan page for a chance to meet him at his concert in Orlando. You’ll also be given access to fan club pre-sale concert tickets, viewing rights to exclusive photos and the opportunity to hear his new albums before anyone else.
Blake Shelton’s stop at the Amway Center is his only Florida date. So if you miss the concert in Orlando, you’ll have to travel to another state to see him. And that’s no BS!
