Located on Garden Pier, this museum takes visitors on a journey to the past as it traces the history of the New Jersey resort town and outlines the formation of the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. The permanent exhibit “Atlantic City, Playground of the Nation,” showcases vintage photos, local costumes and memorabilia, and highlights the famed Miss America pageant held in Monopoly’s hometown. This picturesque amphitheatre is one of the best open-air venues in Atlantic City, complete with seats and standing room for a great view of your favorite musicians. It is located on the Boardwalk, near Trump Plaza, and overlooks the stunning Atlantic City coastline. Expect to see culturally diverse events like Korean sword dances and African fire-eaters, along with a host of other musical events throughout the year. Most events are free.

The Atlantic City Art Center showcases unique artwork from national and local artists displayed in three galleries. The Art museum is the only one in the nation housed on a municipal pier stretching into the Atlantic Ocean. You will also enjoy free admission and parking at this Atlantic City attraction.
