Shopping can include anything from antiques and arts to brand-name apparel, chocolate and keepsakes. If you’ve had your fill of downtown, the Dells and the waterparks, head to the Tanger Outlet Center for a little shopping during your Bluegreen vacation. Just three miles from downtown, 10 minutes from Bluegreen Odyssey Dells and about 20 minutes from the Bluegreen resort, Christmas Mountain Village, the shops at Tanger Outlets have everything you need to fulfill your shopping needs. From accessories to apparel, footwear and houseware, Tanger has over 70 shops to delight your interests.

Apparel stores include Abercrombie & Fitch, adidas, Banana Republic, Coldwater Creek, Levi’s, Polo Ralph Lauren, Van Heusen and Wilsons Leather. When it comes to kids’ wear, stop in the Disney Store Outlet, Gap, Gymboree and OshKosh B’gosh.

Need shoes? Tanger has you covered. From adidas to Bass, Crocs, Journeys, Nike, Nine West and Stride Rite, there is something for everyone. Get your jewelry and accessories at Coach, Sunglass Hut or Totes, among other stores.

Get new kitchenwares from Corningware Corelle Revere and Kitchen Collection. Or treat your kids to a special-made toy at Build-A-Bear.

If you plan ahead for your shopping trip to Tanger Outlets, you can save even more loot. Tanger Outlet’s website has a page for coupons for different stores in the complex. The coupons offer discounts ranging anywhere from $5 off to 20% off your total purchase, making those already great outlet prices even better. The coupon page also announces select sales that are going on within the stores, so look through the coupons and make a plan of action.

Also, upon arriving at Tanger Outlets, check in with the Shopper Services department to find out about sales you may have missed online. Ask for any coupons they may have at the desk, and be sure to grab a map of the complex. It will help your shopping go more smoothly, and save you some cash for dinner.

Furthermore, dress comfortably – whether you are trying on for yourself or buying gifts for others, there is a lot of store space to cover and you don’t want to walk around with blisters or high-maintenance clothing.

Finally, after a day of shopping the 70 plus stores, your appetite should be at full sail. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and fast food joints to pick and choose from. Little Philly’s Bistro is onsite. Other surrounding places include Buffalo Phil’s, across from the Tanger Outlet Center, Cracker Barrel and Denny’s Classic Diner. Refuel at one of these spots or just head back to your Bluegreen resort in the Dells and cook up a good supper in your vacation villa’s kitchen. Whether you are staying at Bluegreen Odyssey Dells or Christmas Mountain Village, you will be close enough to make a trip to the Tanger Outlets.
