Shenandoah Crossing

Follow the open road to Shenandoah Crossing™ and treat your family to the unique RV environment that Bluegreen has introduced at the sprawling Bluegreen resort in rural Gordonsville, Virginia.

Picture it. The activities of a busy day are over now. The light is fading. The evening stars are winking on. Time to cook up some dinner at the summer kitchen, complete with prep counters, running water and a gas barbecue. Then it's time for a campfire in the fire ring or fire pit. Hear the wood crackle. Watch a single plume of smoke rise as the marshmallow at the end of your stick turns a toasty brown. When the fire dies down, feel the cool night air on your fire-warmed face. Take a minute in the silence of the night to look up and marvel at all those stars.

Bluegreen has done it again—created a picture-perfect environment for owners who savor new experiences.

There are 3 levels of amenities at Shenandoah Crossing's RV facilities. Each of the 29 back-in Deluxe sites offers attractive landscaping, a gas barbecue, a patio with furnishings and a small grassy yard. All RV sites include sanitary hook ups and 50 amp/240 volt electrical service. Basic cable TV is standard at each site, as well as wi-fi Internet access. There are 50 Elite pull-through sites that can accommodate large RVs, and feature larger patios, upgraded furnishings and larger summer kitchens with cabinets, concrete countertops and a stainless steel sink.

And then there are the six Presidential spaces. These Presidential spaces include roomy, pull-through sites with large, stained concrete patios, deluxe furnishings and large summer kitchens that include built-in, stainless steel gas barbecues. A fire pit replaces the standard fire ring. A wall surrounds the campsite and offers extra seating and privacy. Wooden arbors surround private hot tubs, which seat six adults.

Attention to detail distinguishes the RV facilities at Shenandoah Crossing. Site fabrications are made of indigenous lumber. When a stand of red-heart cedar became available nearby, Bluegreen bought it to create the fragrant, natural woods for trellises and light fixtures.

Landscaping is another example of the attention to detail. Bluegreen borrowed from nature and planted trees that are native to the area, including crabapples, oaks, maples and a variety of evergreens.

Go check it out. You will love it.
