Ever since that day when the Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress as an official way to declare the independence of the United States from Britain on July 4, 1776, Americans have been celebrating this day of independence with barbeques, parades, festivals and picnics. Nearly every city in the states has a celebration of some sort, whether it be a small Main St. parade or full-blown fireworks spectacle. If you’ll be on a Bluegreen vacation in Hershey, Pennsylvania during this day of celebration, you will have plenty to do as well.

Students of the art of chocolate molding and decorating will also learn about cocoa beans - where they are grown and how they become delectable treats. The museum also hosts other family-fun-filled events, such as S'mores Galore Chocolate Lab Classes and the Maya Chocolate Adventure, which debuts July 2. This adventure will send kids through a series of stations to discover the connection between chocolate and the ancient Mayan culture and, of course, win tasty prizes.
The World's Largest Le Vian Chocolate Diamonds® Event
