Catch a Ride with Myrtle Beach Watersports

Myrtle Beach offers a few forms of natural, water-based entertainment, to say the least. From the Appalachian Mountains, way far west of Myrtle Beach, come the rivers and streams that make their way to the Intracoastal waters and onto the ocean. Those salty waters are calling upon you to come visit. Whether you want to fish, ski, sightsee or swim during your Bluegreen vacation to Myrtle Beach, renting a boat from Myrtle Beach Watersports will take care of your needs. And thanks to their 5 locations, you can drop in where ever you like.

Myrtle Beach Watersports has been in business since 1996, and has been entertaining customers and welcoming back visitors year after year. The company has grown over time to include 5 locations, from Little River to Murrells Inlet, so you have plenty of opportunities to get out on the water during any Bluegreen vacation to Myrtle Beach. All four Bluegreen resorts in Myrtle Beach - Carolina Grande, Harbour Lights, SeaGlass Tower and Shore Crest Vacation Villas - are within close proximity to one of the shops.

Catch a Ride with Myrtle Beach Watersports If you head towards the North Myrtle Beach and Little River locations, the shop offers Jet Ski rentals and guided Jet Ski dolphin tours. They also have pontoons available for rent that you can take out on the Intracoastal and explore the uninhabited islands of the Lowcountry. The North Myrtle Beach location is also home to the World’s Largest Speed Boat, the Sea Screamer, which is good for a 2-hour dolphin cruise off the coast.

The shop that is on 17th Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach has fun things to offer too. If you want to get out in the ocean, opt for a parasailing adventure or Banana Boat ride. As these rides depart from the beach, you can make it part of your day at the shore. Pack your lunch, grab a cooler and hang out on the warm sands of the Atlantic shore before and after your adventure.

The Clarion Inn location in Myrtle Beach offers Jet Ski, jet boat and pontoon boat rentals. From this location, you can get to the Waccamaw River from the Intracoastal Waterway, which allows you to see some different wildlife and gain a whole new experience. This location also rents a 9-passenger Jet Boat for touring and tubing, wake boarding or water skiing. This location is literally a 50-second drive away from the Bluegreen resort, Harbour Lights.

Catch a Ride with Myrtle Beach Watersports If you want to ride Myrtle Beach’s fastest tour boat, head for the Harbourgate location and partake in the two-hour dolphin cruise that takes you out into the Atlantic.

If you want to stay a little inland, the Murrells Inlet shop offers Jet Ski and pontoon rentals. Murrels Inlet is a good place to take your time and see the wildlife. Like Waccamaw River, it is a good place for fishing, offering shade for boaters beneath the cypress and oak that line the waterways.

So, you can chose which Myrtle Beach Water Sports destination you go to based upon either activity or location. If you want to stay close to your Bluegreen resort, head for the downtown Myrtle Beach shop, or the North Myrtle location if you’re staying at the Bluegreen resort, Shore Crest Vacation Villas. If you want something in particular, such as a ride on the world’s largest speed boat, or a quiet cruise down the Waccamaw River, then chose your destination accordingly.

Catch a Ride with Myrtle Beach Watersports Renting or taking a ride on a boat, Jet Ski or parasail during a Bluegreen vacation to Myrtle Beach is a great way to see the surrounding area. Doing something active and new is always a good way to inspire conversation and create bonds between friends and family.
