All right, so your kids’ spring break vacation is just around the corner and you want to make plans to do something that will be fun for the kids and yourself, right? It’s springtime! Which means the sun is shining, trees are greening and weather is warming (oh, and spring break vacation). If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, then we’re not sure what will. But if you’re looking for a way to celebrate the budding heat during your kids spring break, head to Atlantic City for a week of fun on the Jersey coast. When you stay at our resort, Bluegreen at Atlantic Palace, you will be right in the middle of all the amenities the Boardwalk has to offer. Adult and kid-friendly, the Boardwalk has plenty to offer. From arcade games, to music performances, boxing matches and celebrity sightings, you’ll have more than your fair share of entertainment for spring break.
Once you get settled in your suite, take the kids over to the Central Pier Arcade and challenge them to a few old-school games of air hockey, PacMan or Galaga before you let them run off and play the latest and greatest version of Mario Kart. Once they’ve had their fill of the indoor games during spring break, try out the new Nascar go-carts. Or, if the kids are old enough, pick teams and opt for a game of “Shoot the Geek” paintball.
Once you and the clan have gotten your spring break ya ya’s out, head for some dinner. Needless to say, the Boardwalk has plenty of places to chose from, from hotdog stands to fine dining. But one place that is fit for a fun-loving family is The Rainforest Café. With jungle décor, rock walls, trees and fully-stocked aquariums throughout the restaurant, your eyes will stay busy as the kids jump around with Cha! Cha! The red-eyed tree frog, and Tuke, the curious baby elephant. The atmosphere is comfortable, and happily family friendly. There is an entire area of the restaurant devoted to exploration, which would prove to be an obstacle in getting the kids to come eat if it weren’t for the food. The menu includes tasty treats such as quesadillas, wings, salads, seafood, chicken and pizza.
After you are filled to the brim with good food from The Rainforest Café, take a stroll down the pier again. The nightlife is completely different than the daytime shops and sales. The lights from the casinos and fairgrounds will dazzle your and your youngsters’ eyes during your next spring break vacation in Atlantic City.
