About the Taste of Autumn Festival

The Gatlinburg Convention Center plays host to the Taste of Autumn Festival, which serves up scrumptious selections from the best Gatlinburg restaurants and catering companies. And, it’s all for a good cause – to benefit the United Way of Sevier County. Last year, attendees made a $25.00 donation to the fundraising cause and were treated to an unlimited sampling of fine foods and drinks from participating vendors. All of the proceeds from the Taste of Autumn Festival go to the United Way of Sevier County Campaign, which helps to distribute much-needed funds to local organizations that offer services and programs to the Gatlinburg community.

Activities at the Taste of Autumn Festival

During the Taste of Autumn Festival, participants listened to live entertainment while they sampled signature dishes from the many vendors that set up at the Convention Center. Last year, attendees were blown away by the delectable delights available. Wine tastings and samples were poured from Smoky Mountain Winery. The official catering service for the Gatlinburg Convention Center, Charles Richard Resources, promoted its full service catering business complete with replica native mountain decorations on display. Major sponsor Knoxville Coca-Cola offered drinks of Sprite, Coke and Diet Coke. Touch of Love Catering served spicy sweet meatballs, Bavarian chocolate and four types of organic coffees. Hard Rock Café Gatlinburg stayed true to its motto of “love all, serve all,” with samplings of homemade apple cobbler. Mini corn dogs and chocolate vanilla shakes were all the rage, prepared exquisitely from the Gatlinburger Grill. Festival goers also wolfed down the best fish and chips from the authentic English Pub, The Fox and Parrot Tavern.

Treat your taste buds as you wander from table to table at the Taste of Autumn Festival this fall. While you are sampling the best food this side of the Smoky Mountains, you can also feel good about helping others. All in all, this is a great event for a good cause that can’t be beat!
