Immerse yourself in color and creativity and don’t worry about staying inside the lines. Spend the day coloring, drawing, or painting with the latest Crayola® products.

Hands–on programming and activities highlight the exhibits at the Crayola FACTORY®-the perfect place for a day of arts and crafts for kids during a Bluegreen vacation. Learn the history of the Crayola brand. Watch the process of making Crayola crayons and markers from start to finish. This is a great vacation stop for kids of any age, and parents too! Children will have loads of fun writing on clear glass walls, finger-painting, writing and drawing chalk art on the floor, and drying their art projects in a huge oven. Parents will be inspired to jump in and create their own works of art.

On the first stop at the Crayola FACTORY®, two “workers” show you the ins and outs of the manufacturing process. While viewing the crayon-making demonstration, watch as the world’s count of Crayola crayons goes higher and higher. The crayon count will be displayed on the large electronic crayon counter in the background. That familiar crayon smell wafts through the air and reminds you of childhood. No need to worry, as the workers are quick to point out that crayons are not toxic. Did you know that you could eat 3,500 crayons a day and still live on to see another day of your Bluegreen vacation? True story.

Have fun bouncing from station to station, exploring all of the fun exhibits at the Crayola FACTORY®. Get into the groove at the Cool Moves exhibit, where shaking your body creates a Crayola color explosion! A cool color kaleidoscope charts your every movement and uniquely projects it onto the big screen for all to see. Bask in the “Afterglow” at Crayola After Dark. Cool designs and shadow prints reverberate on the wall with just a light touch of your wand.

Roll up your sleeves and learn printmaking techniques at the Easton Press & Bindery. Families can brainstorm ideas and create their own books in this self-enclosed print studio. Bind them and bring them home as a souvenir! Mark your spot on the Chalk Walk with your creative drawings where kids and parents alike can create memorable chalk art. Afterwards, hop on for a game of hopscotch! Release the sculptor extraordinaire when you mold a one-of-a-kind art piece at Super Sculptures.

Your color journey will last about five hours, making it the perfect stop for a fun family day-trip. For about $10.00 per person, you will leave with the tools and knowledge to create your own canvas. Your visit to the Crayola FACTORY® will surely be a great Bluegreen vacation experience!
