Laurel Crest™

In the foothills of the Smoky Mountains National Park lies Bluegreen's Laurel Crest, a cozy country haven less than a mile from the action of Pigeon Forge, but far enough away to offer you a great outdoors vacation complete with all the rest and relaxation you can handle. Complimented by the mountainous backdrop and beautifully landscaped grounds, this Smoky Mountains resort is the perfect place to grab the binoculars for some bird watching from the wraparound clubhouse deck. There are plenty of seasonally themed activities. From pool parties in the summer to holiday parties, there are numerous activities for kids. While they’re at the playground or in the game room, you can bury yourself in a book in the reading lounge, swim some laps in the indoor pool or work up a sweat in the fitness center and sauna. If you’re at a loss for where to go and what to do, our resort staff will help. Attend the vacation-planning hour held every Monday and you’re on your way to an amazing outdoor vacation. Accommodations After a day of exploring, bumper boats and musicals, it’s nice to just kick back and relax. And with comfy one- and two-bedroom villas, it couldn’t be easier. Watch your favorite movie on DVD. Grab a snack from the refrigerator or prepare a meal in your kitchen. End the day by taking in snow-capped mountain views from the comfort of your very own whirlpool tub and balcony terrace. Area Info The Smoky Mountains area is an outdoor wonderland with scenic views guaranteed to take your breath away. Don’t miss Smoky Mountains National Park—the most visited park in the country. Besides its awe-inspiring beauty, the park includes Clingman’s Dome with an expansive view of five states, and the soaring rocks of Chimney Tops. The town of Pigeon Forge is full of attractions—and you’ll certainly know you’re out of the woods when you step onto Dolly Parton’s 100-acre Dollywood® theme park. In the winter Gatlinburg is a hardcore ski town—in the summer, a peaceful retreat. Here you’ll find local shops and unique goodies like homemade fudge and knickknacks made by a variety of artisans and craftspeople. Amidst the lush scenery and outdoor adventure, the Smoky Mountains area actually hosts what could be the most miniature golf courses in the world. Swing into interactive, indoor golf at Treasure Quest Golf or putt-putt your way through “black light” golf at Old Gatlinburg Golf & Games. Hike over 900 miles of scenic and sometimes challenging nature trails. Stop at the Day Hiker store in Gatlinburg for gear and some advice. Don’t be surprised if you see an American black bear—1,800 roam the park. Camping in the park is encouraged, but allowed by permit only. There are 10 developed campsites (with flush toilets), seven sites for group camping and unlimited backpacking. If you’d rather row, Smoky Mountain Outdoors will set you up for whitewater rafting. The rivers and streams of the Smoky Mountains are teeming with trout and smallmouth bass. Bring your own equipment or hook up with Smokies Angling Adventures to gear up. Whatever you choose, the Smoky Mountains area is full of excitement.
