Bluegreen’s Casa Del Mar has the street presence of a fine hotel, but inside the atmosphere is far from pretentious. The staff is warm and friendly, going out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home.
Just steps from the ocean, you can take a leisurely stroll down the beach, work up a sweat during a game of beach volleyball or hit the surf. Vendors offer chairs, umbrellas, bicycles and boogie boards for rent.
For a freshwater fix, you can practice your freestyle in the beachfront Olympic-sized pool at this resort, or soak your cares away in the outdoor hot tub. Before dinner, enjoy a cold drink at the bar and lounge overlooking the pool and ocean then head down to the pool deck to grill up some hot food on your very own BBQ grill offered by the resort.
When the kids aren’t frolicking in the sand and surf or splashing in the children’s pool, they can participate in our activities program, or hang out in the game room or head across the street for a game of mini-golf at Pirate’s Cove.
AccommodationsThe villas are as sunny as a Florida day. The majority of accommodations are oceanfront and painted to reflect the comfort and relaxation of their “beachy” surroundings. Each villa’s plantation shutters and colorful décor display a tropical theme. You can sleep to the soothing waves and wake to the sun peeking through your balcony window. Choose from studio, one- or two-bedroom villas and get ready to enjoy life by the beach. Full kitchens make it easy to feel right at home and your whirlpool bath is a welcomed retreat after a fun-filled day at the beach.
Area InfoIf you need a little advice on where to go and what to do while on your vacation, don’t hesitate to ask the concierge on duty. Ormond Beach is right up the street from all the attractions and activities of Daytona Beach. Most famous, of course, is the drive-on beach and the huge variety of water sports and other aquatic activities that go along with it. Almost as famous is DAYTONA USA® and the International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500.
This particular part of Florida is also home to many historical places of interest. Discover the fascinating history of the town of Ponce Inlet and go deep-sea fishing while you’re there. Or make your way to historic downtown Daytona Beach and visit Beach Street, which features local restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and exciting events. Go play some Florida golf, take a riverboat tour, or simply relax on the beach. Fortunately, Ormond Beach is also located a short drive from Orlando and historic St. Augustine. If you feel like taking a day-trip during your vacation, the world-famous attractions and entertainment of Orlando isn’t far; or, visit historic St. Augustine and play some golf, or soak up the Spanish influence of the 1500’s.
Sometimes, a beach vacation is just what you need. Deciding which kind of beach vacation is a whole other story.

All of the staff members from the staff behind the check in counter to the staff in the parrot lounge, housekeeping, maintenance and gift shop. Everyone made us feel welcome and part of a family. The bluegreen representatives angela, lucy, shana, will I cannot remember all of their names, helped you find places to go like fishing, seeing the manatees, parasailing sightseeing and many other things, daytona 500 kennedy space center. So many things they do not pressure you to sign up for a timeshare, like some of the people that come up to you on the beach, beware of them do not go to their promotion timeshares, stay with bluegreen and sign up with them if you really want a timeshare along with a deed. I could not say enough about this resort would love to go back there again and plan on it again. A beautiful and relaxing place.
